Idea for a Fun Spring Break Vacation
With less than two months until Spring Break 2010, it’s time to start thinking about the possible destinations where we can have a lot of fun. As it happens every year, spring break travel deals are already out there and it’s definitely time to start looking for details.
Probably one of the most popular Spring Break destinations is Mexico. The top destinations in Mexico are Cancun, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Each place is unique in its own and each offers a lot of opportunities to have a lot of fun.
If you have warm weather, sun bathing and a lot of fun in mind, then Cancun is definitely a good choice for you. Make sure to look for flights to Cancun ahead of them and find the perfect timing to book them. Remember, Spring Break falls during the high travel season and the prices are higher than usual. Non stop round trip flights from LAX to Cancun in early and/or mid-March start at $388 per person.
Accommodation wise, there are quite a lot of choices in Cancun. Cheap hotels in Cancun need to be booked in advance though because most of those wanting to spend Spring Break in Mexico will aim to stay in an affordable place. You can find rooms starting at $65 per night during March even in resorts.
Should you want to stay closer to home but still enjoy decent weather, San Diego is an excellent choice. It’s not warm enough to sunbath but no one said you cannot walk on the beach and enjoy some nice time in the clubs.
Flights to San Diego are easy to find and many airlines offer special rates during this time of the year. Non stop round trip flights from New York to San Diego in early and/or mid-March start at $309 per person.
As for finding accommodation, cheap hotels in San Diego are just as easy to find as they are in Cancun. Typically, in the case of large cities, prices vary quite a lot but you should expect to pay at least $65 per room per night, in a place which offers quick and easy access to the city’s attractions.
